NetPMD are pleased to appoint Mark Stewart as the new Director of Installation Services for NetPMD LLC. 

 

Mark’s role will focus around building and managing a team of highly trained and motivated technicians to support all types of field activity, including installation, integration, maintenance, & troubleshooting.  This will also include developing and implementing policies and procedures to make his team as effective and efficient as possible. 

Mark’s telecommunications journey began when he worked in the Army as a Comms Technician.  He spent 32 years at AT&T working his way up to Senior Technician, where he became the first Field Supervisor to support 25/30 Field Technicians.  Following on from this he was Area Manager for all installation activities on the west coast of the US taking responsibility for over 300 Field Technicians and 25 Field Supervisors.  During the last year Mark has worked as a Project Manager & Trainer for one of Nokia’s west coast subcontractors helping them to create “best in class” policies and teaching the young technicians and field supervisors the “ropes”. 

Mark brings with him a mass of experience.  He commented ”During my years in the field I had the opportunity to work on thousands of installation projects of all types and sizes and encountered and solved various obstacles and issues in my roles as Technician, Field Supervisor and Manager.  I bring that wealth of experience and a unique perspective to NetPMD and look forward to utilising it to contribute to the company's ongoing success”. 

Nick Whittaker, Chairman of NetPMD said “Mark will be a great asset to NetPMD.  His goal is to build a world class team of Technicians and Field Supervisors to support all our customer and project needs.  This includes building and integrating the systems required to support his team effectively whilst in the field and providing them with the training and tools necessary to successfully accomplish their objectives”.
